End User & Service Sales Manager

We’re recruiting an End User & Service Sales Manager for a newly created role within a growing Service Sales organization. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping how service, retrofit, and upgrade solutions are developed and delivered to end users across the Netherlands, with potential expansion into Dutch-speaking Belgium.
Our client is a global provider of industrial automation, drive technology, and intelligent motion solutions, supporting customers across the full lifecycle of machines and systems. The Role
This is a standalone, high-impact position within a newly established Sales Service Division. You will focus on developing service-related revenue by proactively engaging end users, identifying opportunities within the installed base, and converting insight into structured service, retrofit, and upgrade sales.
Working closely with regional sales teams, application engineers, and an international service organization, you’ll help define and shape the local service sales approach as the division grows.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify, engage, and develop new end-user and service customers, including OEMs, MROs, and manufacturers
Define and execute a local business plan focused on end-user and service sales growth
Build strategic relationships to secure preferred supplier status with key end users
Coordinate with international stakeholders on global end-user initiatives and account strategies
Service Sales
Build and manage a structured sales funnel with clear opportunity management
Analyse the installed base and translate insights into service, retrofit, and upgrade opportunities
Define pricing strategies and service business models
Manage the full sales cycle, including quotations, negotiations, approvals, and ongoing customer relationships
Collaboration & Alignment
Work closely with regional sales teams, application engineering, and the central service organization
Coordinate with OEM sales, distributors, and system integrators to ensure a unified market approach
Share market insights, forecasts, and pipeline updates with key stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
5+ years’ experience in business development or direct B2B sales
3+ years’ experience selling services or solutions, ideally within industrial automation, drives, or motion control
Skills & Competencies
Strong consultative selling and communication skills
Results-driven mindset with a proactive, customer-focused approach
Comfortable working independently in a newly created role
Fluent in English and the local language
Confident operating in hybrid environments and across international teams
