Purpose of the Role
The Control Systems Engineer works directly with customers to define functional requirements, design control system solutions, and lead on-site commissioning and qualification. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, compliant, and innovative automation systems that support modernization and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Design
Develop control system designs, documentation, panel layouts, and schematics.
Redline and update P&IDs to ensure accuracy.
Define and validate distributed control system (DCS) architectures.
Implementation & Commissioning
Perform testing, startup, and commissioning activities.
Ensure systems meet functional, compliance, and performance requirements.
Technical Leadership
Lead engineering teams to execute deliverables.
Mentor junior engineers.
Enhance engineering standards and processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support business development during pre-sales.
Assist in defining scopes, solutions, and cost estimates.
Qualifications & Experience
2–8 years of experience in industrial automation or control systems engineering.
Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV systems.
Strong understanding of design, configuration, and coding methodologies.
Experience with Microsoft Windows environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering (or related).
Excellent communication and customer collaboration skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
