Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support
Develop concepts and solutions tailored to customer needs.
Provide technical support to the Sales Team, ensuring feasibility and alignment with client requirements.
Validate project technical feasibility and communicate solutions effectively to customers.
Promote the company’s technology and build long-term relationships based on trust.
Project Engineering
Write functional specifications and estimate engineering costs.
Develop and maintain software for automation applications.
Provide on-site support for commissioning and system integration.
Lead product innovation and standardization, ensuring continuous improvement.
Manage handover and acceptance processes to ensure successful project completion.
After-Sales & Technical Support
Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for customer inquiries.
Resolve technical issues efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Technical Training & Development
Organize and deliver internal and external technical training for customers and teams.
Act as a technical advisor, helping clients maximize the potential of automation solutions.
General Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between internal departments to enhance collaboration.
Identify customer needs and recommend the best automation solutions.
Stay up to date with industry advancements and contribute to product innovation.
Represent the company at industry events, training sessions, and trade shows.
Supervise the Application Team in France and report to the Application Manager in Belgium.
Job Requirements
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline).
Industry Experience & Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Drives & Automation, Motion Control, and Control Systems.
Experience with automation programming languages and engineering tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical software.
Soft Skills & Personal Traits
Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for customers.
Analytical mindset with a structured, results-driven approach.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Passion for engineering, technology, and continuous learning.
Willingness to travel for short-term international assignments when required.
Fluent in French and English.
