Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Support

  • Develop concepts and solutions tailored to customer needs.

  • Provide technical support to the Sales Team, ensuring feasibility and alignment with client requirements.

  • Validate project technical feasibility and communicate solutions effectively to customers.

  • Promote the company’s technology and build long-term relationships based on trust.

Project Engineering

  • Write functional specifications and estimate engineering costs.

  • Develop and maintain software for automation applications.

  • Provide on-site support for commissioning and system integration.

  • Lead product innovation and standardization, ensuring continuous improvement.

  • Manage handover and acceptance processes to ensure successful project completion.

After-Sales & Technical Support

  • Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for customer inquiries.

  • Resolve technical issues efficiently to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Technical Training & Development

  • Organize and deliver internal and external technical training for customers and teams.

  • Act as a technical advisor, helping clients maximize the potential of automation solutions.

General Responsibilities

  • Act as a bridge between internal departments to enhance collaboration.

  • Identify customer needs and recommend the best automation solutions.

  • Stay up to date with industry advancements and contribute to product innovation.

  • Represent the company at industry events, training sessions, and trade shows.

  • Supervise the Application Team in France and report to the Application Manager in Belgium.

Job Requirements

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related discipline).

Industry Experience & Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Drives & Automation, Motion Control, and Control Systems.

  • Experience with automation programming languages and engineering tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant technical software.

Soft Skills & Personal Traits

  • Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for customers.

  • Analytical mindset with a structured, results-driven approach.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Passion for engineering, technology, and continuous learning.

  • Willingness to travel for short-term international assignments when required.

  • Fluent in French and English.
